Africa News Tonight is a 60 minute news magazine program that airs twice each evening, Monday through Friday, at 1600 and 1800 UTC/GMT.

Africa News Tonight brings you the latest news from our correspondents on the continent, as well as interviews with African officials, opposition leaders, NGOs, human rights activists and government officials.

The show also contains daily features examining developments in science and technology, the environment, development issues, the African Diaspora, business, lifestyle and culture.

Also tune in for the Sonny Side of Sports, bringing you the latest African and world sports from award winning host, Sonny Young.

Listener comments and an African song round out the hour-long program.

Africa News Tonight is paired with World News Now, a 30 minute program airing Monday through Friday at 1700 and 1900 UTC/GMT and providing the latest world news.
