The U.S. military in Iraq says two American helicopter pilots were killed Sunday in a crash in Salah ad Din province in north-central Iraq.
The military described the crash as a "hard landing."
According to the statement, the cause of the incident is under investigation, and the identities of the pilots are being withheld until their families are notified.
